What are letters of protection?

What are letters of protection? A letter of protection is a letter that a patient will provide to a doctor that asks the doctor to please hold off on collection of the medical bills until your case is resolved. So if you've been seriously injured in an accident and you don't have the financial wherewithal or means to pay the doctor, but you need help, oftentimes kind doctors in the community will treat you. It's important to contact a lawyer because they want a letter of protection from an attorney that shows that you are pursuing the case and that there is insurance coverage out there from the at-fault party that will ultimately compensate you. So if you're having serious problems and you need treatment, please give me a call. I'd like to sit down with you and see what I can do to help.
